If men spoke women's words, how would it be different? How would it be the same?

‘IT’S NOT ME, IT’S YOU’ is an ongoing film project that relies on anonymously recorded conversations from which a script is constructed.

This project was conceived as a way of using film and acting to explore some of the defining gap(s) and differences between people. The film uses actors and film to re-present verbatim real conversations. Knowing nothing about who said them or how they were said the cast must find the words meaning and tone for themselves.

'Pre-trained' and 'Lucky Woman' were commissioned by channel four and were first broadcast  in September 2013 as part of the Random Acts series.
